Portfolio- Custom made Cannon Carriages for "FIRING" Barrels Sold - Pg 4 |
Texas Military Forces Museum Camp Mabry - Austin, Texas is an official museum of the Texas National Guard. They needed a naval gun carriage (circa 1836) built for their operational gun tube that is a replica of the “Golden Standard”—a 12 pounder brass gun captured at the battle of San Jacinto. After its capture it was used on a ship of the Texas Navy. The carriage and gun can be seen at their museum. |
I built a half scale Second Model Prairie Carriage for a customer that had a Pack Parrott cannon barrel with a 1.75" bore and a 1-1/2" deep powder chamber. |
